Book Club Up-Date

The books for the first Book Club read should be here in a couple of days. The lovely bookmarks that “The Fiddler’s Gun” author A.S. Peterson has provided for us, have arrived today. I will be turning the books around as soon as I get them. The potential start date that I am looking toward is Monday, January 25th, with the “rain date” being the following Monday, February 1st. I will be sending out an email to confirm shipping addresses today.
I am looking forward to this adventure with all of you!

Although I do have the book, and said perhaps I wouldn’t need it, I was wondering if I could receive it and send it to a teacher friend of mine who lives in Colorado. I know she should really love it. I could pay for it as well, or just get one from the RR, but I thought I’d connect with you first. Honestly, it’s fine if you would rather save it for someone else. Really. =) Sheesh, I hope I will be able to contribute to this. I’m really not a book critic at all, and I’ve never participated in a book club before, but I really like this book so much, and I know I can learn a lot, even if I just listen more than talk!
